Graduated from Southeast College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Southeast Missouri State University, and Walden University
I am certified through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I started my career in the healthcare field as an RN for a total of 11 years. I gained experience in the hospital setting and gained knowledge of adult and geriatric care in all aspects of the hospital. I also spent 3 years as an LPN instructor. With the knowledge I had acquired, I felt the need to help the community in a higher level of nursing and enrolled in school again.
I practice in family care due to the drive to provide care for the whole patient in all aspects of their life. I want patients to feel comfortable to talk to me with any concern at any time of their lives. I focus on preventative care, evidence-practice, and empathy to help guide my care to each patient.
I currently reside in Jackson, MO. I have two children and one dog. I love spending time with family and friends. I am a kid at heart with the love for all things Disney. I love to dive into crafting projects in my spare time, including making epoxy cups, knitting, and cross-stitch.
